Your guide will lead you to all the hidden power spots of the grove
Mt. Futaba is not renowned just for its beautiful nature, it also bears a lot of historical significance for Hiroshima.
Located to the northwest of Hiroshima Castle, in the dreaded "demon gate" Kimon direction, it stands guard and protects the city of Hiroshima from evil spirits since ancient times. The locals believe powerful kami deities reside in the rich nature and massive rocks scattered throughout Futaba, as well as the Inari Shrines. Your guide will take you to all these hidden "power spots" for a little spiritual recharge.

Admire the majestic architecture of the Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine, teeming with history
Located at the foot of Mt Futaba is the solemn and majestic Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine.
Built upon a stone wall, it is truly a sight to behold. Within its premises you can find photographs of the magnificent architecture of the best craftsmen of Kyoto, unfortunately lost to the atomic bombing of WW II. Let's start our adventure at this shrine that stood guard over Hiroshima for ages, from times when cherry trees lined the streets, through the tragedy of WW II all the way to the hustle and bustle of present day.
