It takes only 40 minutes by ferry from Hiroshima City to cross over to the city of Etajima, surrounded by pristine nature.
From here you can hop on an electrically assisted bike and head out on a tour of Etajima and its surroundings, whilst enjoying the amazing natural scenery of the many islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
The bicycles are Besv electric mini velo, PSA1, which can travel more than 70 km with a single charge so you don't have to worry about running out of battery power.
Your guide will explain in detail how to operate the bikes and provide support all the way, so even those who have not ridden an e-bike before can do sao safely and with confidence.
The guide also has a set for flat tires with him, so you can enjoy the tour without a single worry. Not to mention that the e-bikes are much better for your knees whilst still remaining an excellent exercise option!

Visit the quaint and cozy local stores, to get your hands on fresh produce, seasonings and more. Despite the nostalgic stores appearing rather small the selection of products is surprisingly wide for its size.
Local farmers are happy to share their vegetables with free of charge, but will not say no to something small and sweet as a sign of gratitude and appreciation.
Winter is the oyster season, while in summer shrimps are at their best. Either way we will get ours fresh caught, directly from the local fishermen.

This tour offers you a rather rare opportunity to meet and talk to real farmers, who will be happy to either share their produce with you or even let you harvest your own! Of course what vegetables are at their best during your visit depends on the season and the crop conditions, so different vegetables might be in their prime each time you visit.

We will get our ingredients while cycling around Etajima from local farmers, producers, and other completely local spots where you cannot normally buy them.
After that we will settle at one of the most scenic spots of Etajima and prepare a delicious authentic meal from our fresh ingredients. The dishes change with the seasons, so every season offers a slightly different, unique experience.
