Toshin Ceramics Classroom is a classroom for ceramics in Osaka's Naniwa Ward. Our classes are made so that even complete beginners can enjoy the experience. The classroom is a single buidling surrounded by greenery. With hand-carved wood furniture, we also pride ourselves on the interior. It's a family-run workshop, so it's got a cozy atmosphere almost like visiting a friend's house. We'll support you so that you enjoy your time here. Please feel free to join us.

In the "Simple Ceramic Experience," we give you 500g of clay that you can freely use to make whatever you like. You can do everything up to the molding process. You could make 3～4 bowls or plates for example. Carefully take on the clay, and make a product as only you can. If there's something you would like to make, feel free to ask for assistance. We instructors are here to support you, so that you can create something you'll be happy with. Afterwards, you can choose the color it willl be glazed with. We will then later do the glazing and give you the final product another day. We'll take over, so you can just wait until the completed product is done. For those who want to do the glazing themselves, by all means please choose our 2-day "Full Ceramic Experience" course!

In our joint gallery, we display and sells products such as items fired in a kiln, and woodwork that utilize their natural shape.We also have made-to-order gifts.
