Activity Information

Located in the city of Kashiwara, the Katashimo Winery is the oldest wine producer in West Japan. In accordance with their “high quality wine that suits the Japanese palate” motto, the winery grows its own wine grapes using organic fertilizer, whilst reducing the use of pesticides as much as possible and eliminating herbicides completely. This casual experience offers you the opportunity to visit the vineyard and enjoy a selection of 3 wines. It also includes a walking map of the surrounding village, with old traditional houses and points of interest.
