▼Founded in 1978, this store is famous for being frequented even by butchers themselves.
The “Special Rare Hamburger” made with A5 rank Kuroge Wagyu is surprisingly tender, rare in the middle and topped with egg yolk that you need to break apart before topping it off with a special sauce.
The thick cuts of upper skirt steak can also be enjoyed either with salt, or a special sauce.
The meat is tender, juicy and full of flavor.
The wagyu hamburger (200g), half-sized serving of skirt steak and one drink are included as a set menu for this restaurant.

▼This restaurant is one of very few in the southern Osaka region that is officially licensed to offer strictly selected Kuroge Wagyu Yukhoe, a Korean raw meat dish similar to stake tartare with a special sauce. It literally melts in your mouth!
Another specialty of the restaurant is the “box selection” featuring a selection of top cuts of the day out of 20 different cuts of beef.
With tongue, lean red meat and marbled beef, the selection strikes a perfect balance.
9 various types of beef await neatly lined up on the shelves of the box, just waiting for you to lift the lid. Being able to taste many different cuts of beef at once is what makes the meat grill Isshin special.

2nd restaurant, choice 2: Yakiniku charcoal grill Yawaragi

▼This meat grill is simply loved by the locals.
It is famous for its thinly sliced cuts of beef for “yaki-shabu”, best enjoyed only slightly grilled over charcoal and dipped into a mix of ponzu and grated radish.
The meat is packed with umami and is simply addictive.
Another store specialty is the omasum or tripe, designated for raw consumption. It is very fresh and of high quality, without any unpleasant odors. The store recommends dipping it in the special sauce or lemon juice for the best experience.

▼A very popular spot among those “in the know”, this meat grill restaurant is famous for its owner who dedicated 30 years of his life to meat grilling and who personally selected the domestically produced Kuroge Wagyu that customers can enjoy here.
The most popular item on the menu are the sukiyaki-style thin slices of high quality beef, lightly grilled and accompanied by the thick and creamy “Dragon Egg” yolks from Oita.
