JO-TERRACE OSAKA

Located right by Osakajokoen Station, Jo-Terrace Osaka is a commercial complex that opened in 2017 with the concept of a castle town in the middle of nature. The logo was created from the motif of a nodategasa, sort of like a Japanese version of a beach umbrella, used for outside tea parties. The facility is comprised of 22 stores from restaurants to goods to information. Restaurants include cafes like Starbucks and Tully's Coffee in addition to famous ramen shops in Osaka, like Takahiro Ramen and Nadai Chibo. For goods, you can find the flower shop, Saint Jordi Flowers the Decorator. On the first floor of this place, you can find guidance for Osaka Castle Park in Jo-Terrace Osaka Information & Official Shop. Just outside is also a bench with a background of painted samurai, feudal lord, and princess characters, where you can sit and have your picture taken to commemorate your visit. It's a spot where people are known to take pictures. Access is easy and straightforward from Osakajokoen Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line.

  • Infomation

If you visit Osaka Castle Park, you'll definitely want to give Jo-Terrace Osaka a visit. Of particular interest is Ramen Alley, which contains 6 restaurants, including one with its first store in Kansai. You'll also find restaurants like Ogon-no-shio-ramen Due Italian, featured 3 years in a row in the Michelan Guide Tokyo, and Tentenyu, a super popular ramen spot from Kyoto. We recommend finding a ramen shop you like here rather than wallking around Osaka and tiring yourself out.
