The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau strives to make Osaka a welcoming destination for all visitors, including LGBTQ+ travelers. Their initiatives help hotels, tourist facilities, and other businesses create a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ travelers. One such initiative involves providing seminars and training to help businesses learn about LGBTQ+ issues and how to better welcome guests of diverse backgrounds. As a part of this initiative, the providers of 32 different DeepExperience programs have completed this seminar and have been certified as welcoming towards all visitors.
Certified experiences display the rainbow Pride Flag, a widely recognized symbol of LGBTQ+ acceptance, to reassure LGBTQ+ travelers that they are welcome.
