Activity Information
Enjoy a pottery class with an amazing view of the Seto Inland Sea right before you.
The "PolePole" in PolePole Pottery Workshop is taken from Swahili and means "laid back" or "leisurely".
How about taking a break from your busy days and enjoy a little "me" time whilst making your very own piece of pottery?
As we accept only one group per experience there will be no other customers around so you can enjoy the workshop all by yourself!

10 different glaze colors to choose from, so you can select the one you like the most!
Choose freely what kind of a product you would like to make (tea cups, bowls, plates etc.) from the provided 300g of clay (either red or white). With more than 10 different colors of glazing you can choose one that fits your preference the best.
Families with children welcome! We have a Kids Space with toys and picture books available!
Generally, families with small children might find it difficult to enjoy a pottery class due to the ever present fear of their offspring knocking down and breaking something. As we here at PolePole understand that type of worries, we have prepared a Kids Space for your children, so you can enjoy the pottery class without a care in the world.
