Shitennoji temple is one of the oldest and most important temples in Japan. This prestigious temple was build in 593 by Prince Shotoku who has played a major role in spreading Buddhism in Japan. Despite of its significance, Shitennoji temple is less visited by tourists compared to other popular temples in Japan due to its location.
